• At 7:30 a.m., a woman reported a burglary at her Circle Drive residence. Someone entered the residence and removed a Sony PlayStation game console valued at $249.99. No damage or forced entry was reported.
• A man reported $150 in damage done to his vehicle’s window on Parkmeadow Lane.
• At 2 p.m., a man reported someone stole a truck valued at $38,000 containing $19,000 worth of quilts from the 3600 block of Parkway Lane. Both were the property of Quiltman.
I have also included a 3D energy consumption measurement. In the 3D mode the backlight is often maxed out to compensate for the reduction in light from the 3D glasses. I’ve had the Sony DSC-S950 SteadyShot camera for many years now. It is my handy-dandy grab and go camera when I don’t feel like using my SLR. With 10 megapixels and 4x optical zoom the camera packs somewhat of a punch. It does have many downsides though.
Before my SLR days I never noticed any setbacks with this camera. Its image quality was sufficiently good, and the camera was light. With more knowledge in photography, I am beginning to see what sets cheap point and shoots apart from SLR technology. Firstly the camera has a very slow image cycle time. This means you have to wait several seconds between taking each image (roughly 2-3 seconds). This also applies during reviewing the images on the camera. Since the processor is cheap it requires more time to perform tasks.

I want to make sure the head I buy will support the Swarovski 80mm Spotting Scope and any DSLR - I currently shoot with a Canon 50D, but want it to support a heavier camera in case I move to a bigger camera/battery pack in the future. Now that we have played with our new scope a bit, it is painfully obvious we need a better tripod head.
I've recently bought the Nikon D300 and using the 18 - 55mm Nikon lens which came with my Nikon D40. I've got a camera case (although getting s little small), got a Manfrotto Tripod and monopod - have cases for both.
