I had a Nikon Coolpix that was stolen. It was a nice little camera but I'm looking to upgrade now. I have my eye on three different ones: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, Olympus SZ-10, and an Olympus SZ-30MR. What's your opinion?
Lumix LX-5 is the best compact camera around, followed by Olympus XZ-1 and Canon s95.
Canon are Nikon are good for professional level cameras, but for point and shoot top brands are Lumix, Canon and Olympus.

xD card sliders are usually on the back of the card.
You should never switch cards between cameras without formatting each time.

Be sure you have a good antivirus like the Avira or AVG (even the free version) or Malwarebyte's Antimalware. Clean your PC and scan that memory card. You may then reformat the card once you are sure no virus is getting in the way in the PC/laptop. more...

It is not often we find a camera like this: it's a metal-built £99 pocket model only 2cm deep, at its slimmest, but it fits in a 10x optical zoom lens.
